Local cat upset at being taken to vet

A local cat was heard to be yowling and growling quite loudly this evening as he was being taken to the vet by his obviously cruel and heartless owner.  “Mosley” was due for his annual checkup and booster shots in July, but because his owner has plans for a trip out of town next month, the unsuspecting cat was subjected to the vet visit a month early.  Witnesses say that his owner, Mike Berger, 33, had to  visibly struggle to get Mosley in his carrier and that the poor cat could be seen thrashing about inside as Mr. Berger got him inside his car.  “That cat clearly wanted no parts of going to the vet,” said Mr. Berger’s next door neighbor Jim Patterson.  “I felt sorry for the little guy.”  Rumor has it that while at the vet Mosley was also forced to have his eyes examined, his teeth checked, as well as having to endure a nail-clipping.   Reporters for The Moldy Cheese were camped outside Mosley’s vet to check on his condition as he and his owner left the building, but Mosley clearly just wanted to foget his ordeal.  “Please, I have no comment.  I just want to get home, use the litter box and maybe play with some string later,” Mosley said as he was led out.
