Michael Jackson’s death causes news vortex to cover world

The death of pop superstar Michael Jackson has caused a black-hole- like news vortex to emerge, covering the United States and most of the rest of the world.  This vortex has sucked any news item not related to Michael Jackson item into its belly and has essentially left most of the world wondering if there is anything else going on.  “This black hole,  if you will,  is a very powerful force.  Nothing can get by it.   We haven’t seen a news vortex this powerful since O.J. and the white Ford Bronco,” said scientist Ernest Malfoy.   Scientists are feverishly working on a way to disintegrate it, but have been unsuccessful. “It’s hard for us to work on finding a way to get rid of it,” Mr. Malfoy says.  “All our best scientists are too distraught over Michael’s death and are too busy watching his old videos on Youtube and MTV to help us work on this.”

Just how long this news vacuum will remain is anyone’s guess.  “The world may be devoid of any news that does not relate to Michael Jackson for quite some time,” said Michael Barry of the Department of Black Holes and Vortexes. “People should brace themselves and prepare for a long summer without any other news coverage.”
